Caffeine Polka
Page 82, Stones, Winds and Life

I went to the coffee shop to unwind,
Now I got the buzz
I’m feelin’ fine.
Two lattes,
A double tall mocha,
On my head I can do the polka.
Rockin and rollin’
Too soon to tell,
Freshly brewed,
I can tell by the smell!
An adrenaline rush in the air,
No fear…no stress…
Hold onto the chair!
Mocha delight…mocha delight…
No way I’ll sleep tonight.
Give me a double.
No! A triple I say!
Sleep I must stave away.
Check the grind.
Check the pour,
Will I ever again snore!
Probably not, the caffeine lot,
We’re the walking dead,
Buzzing head.
Spend the coin.
Spend the money.
Punch the card.
“Be right there, honey!”
